Story
‘The Platform’ is nestled on the historic and heritage listed railway station platform
Hannah, the genius behind all of their menus said “We are so proud to be able to say we make everything we sell from scratch. We truly hope to make our locals proud of our venues and not only frequent them but show them off to visitors. It is the biggest compliment to us when our faithful regulars visit with travelling family or friends. At our newest baby, (and it is small!) ‘The Platform’ Toby and his construction team have done such an amazing job of recreating a little shop from a lost era. I am so excited to now deliver some old fashioned cooking and baking to showcase all of the amazing produce we have in the Tweed Valley through a humble, tasty, and quirky offering and make ‘The Platform’ a destination in itself , to encourage locals and visitors to breathe life into the beautiful Murbah’ station precinct.”
‘The Platform’ was conceived by powerhouse cafe & restaurant Tweed Coast couple Hannah and Toby Bamford, currently responsible for bringing you Apex Dining at the Tweed Regional Gallery and their own bakery and production kitchen Baked at Ancora on the river in Tweed.
